Day of the Show


Here is some helpful information to prepare you for the best possible Spirit of America experience!

  • Spirit of America is a FREE program. Tickets are required for the venue in Fairfax.

  • For shows at the DC Armory, tickets are not required. For patrons that prefer to have something printed to bring, you may request tickets through EventBrite. Please click here.

  • Seating is on a first come, first-served basis (open seating).

  • Doors will open 90 minutes before show time for all performances, so come early and enjoy the pre-show entertainment!

  • Cameras with interchangeable lens, tripods and video cameras are not permitted.

  • Spirit of America is approximately 2 hours in length, including one 15-minute intermission.

  • Accessible seating is readily available and a section is reserved for those requiring a sign language interpreter. Please contact the appropriate arena to request ADA tickets (see Ticketing page for details).

  • Tour, Veteran Service Organizations, school , community groups are welcome as well as individuals. Come one, come all!

  • There is no limit to the number of tickets you can request. The arena group sales office takes requests for groups of 10 or more (see  Ticketing page).

  • Bus drop off points and parking information is available from the arena.

  • Soldiers in period uniforms reenact key moments in U.S. Army and American history. These reenactments include battle scenes and short periods of simulated gunfire. Audiences should be prepared for loud noises.

  • Refreshments are available throughout the performance from concession stands in the arena concourse. No outside food or beverage is allowed.
